Public demo server
IFC-SPF files can be built and generated by very diverse BIM authoring tools. An open web-based IFC-SPF convertor tool is made available at http://smartlab1.elis.ugent.be:8889/IFC-repo/. This open tool allows any end user to upload an IFC-SPF file. An RDF graph is then generated at server side. The IFC-SPF file and corresponding RDF graph are stored in the server and publicly made available to any end user. This tool relies on the IFC to RDF conversion code made available at https://github.com/pipauwel/IFCtoRDF.

Go to http://smartlab1.elis.ugent.be:8889/IFC-repo/. Push the “Upload” button in the upper right corner.

1

Select an IFC file to upload and push “Upload”.

2

Both the IFC file and the TTL file for the uploaded model are made available in the interface. You can download both by clicking on the “ifc” and “ttl” links. You can delete models by clicking the red cross.
